Torredembarra is located in a privileged enclave, at 12 km from Tarragona and 80 km from Barcelona, very near many places of interest for tourism in Costa Daurada. The town is formed by different population nuclei and it has an extension of 857.8 hectares. The population has experienced a big increase in the last few years and at present it has a population of 5,000 registered inhabitants.

Torredembarra has been a place of fishermen and farmers since the Medieval Age and that duality is shown in the gastronomic offer. There is a wide range of leisure activities: nautical activities, cultural visits, natural routes, commercial areas...

With the passing of time Torredembarra has achieved a good position as a summer destination and has attracted above all the attention of families.
